HP OfficeJet 4650 All-in-One Printer

My computer broke and I have multiple unused Instant Ink cartridges, unopened and unused. I have gotten a new printer and now more ink cartridge shipments are coming. What do I do with all this unused/unneeded Instant Ink?

@kilerkitty, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Handling Unused HP Instant Ink Cartridges!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If you have unused HP Instant Ink cartridges and no longer need them due to a printer upgrade or other reasons, here's what you can do:

1. Return the Unused Cartridges

HP Instant Ink cartridges are the property of HP and must be returned when they're no longer needed. You can use the recycling options provided by HP to send them back.

Steps to Return the Cartridges:

  • Order return supplies: You can request a recycling envelope or a prepaid return address label from HP Planet Partners.
  • Package the cartridges: Follow the instructions to pack the cartridges securely.
  • Ship them back: Use the provided envelope or label to send the cartridges back to HP for recycling.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
