HP ENVYPhoto 6230
Microsoft Windows 11

When registering the HP instant ink, I met the probelm of "Es ist ein Fehler vor Abschluss der HP Instant Ink Registrierung aufgetreten. (GSS001)" (my location is Germany). I have tried re-install the web service, but it doesn't work. Could anyone help me with the problem? Thank you!

Hi @ApinePro

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It seems like you are encountering an error (GSS001) when trying to initialize HP Instant Ink on your HP ENVY Photo 6230 printer. This error code typically indicates an issue with the registration process. Here are steps you can try to resolve the problem:

May I know If you have changed the region?

Check Internet Connection: Ensure that your computer and printer are connected to the internet. A stable internet connection is necessary for the registration process.

Update Printer Firmware: Make sure that your printer has the latest firmware installed. You can check for and update the firmware through the printer's control panel or the HP website.

Use a Different Web Browser: Sometimes, browser-related issues can cause registration problems. Try using a different web browser to complete the registration process.

Clear Browser Cache and Cookies: Clear the cache and cookies in your web browser to ensure that there are no conflicting or outdated data causing the issue.

Disable Firewall and Antivirus: Temporarily disable any firewall or antivirus software on your computer. Sometimes, security software can block the communication between your printer and the HP servers.

Reset Printer: Turn off your printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about 60 seconds, and then plug it back in. Power on the printer and check if the issue persists.

Check Regional Settings: Ensure that your computer and printer are set to the correct region, especially if you are in Germany. Sometimes, regional settings can affect the registration process.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.-

Hello, I was not at home last days. I checked the region of my account and my printer, which are both Germany, and the registration process always ends at 54%.  Still need some help
