Faulty Ink Cartridge

HP ENVY Photo 7134 Wireless All-in-One Printer

I have a HP Envy Photo 7134 printer. We received a genuine cartridges from "instant Ink" program.


The tri-colour cartridge required change. Once inserted into the printer, the printer did an alignment. The printer then report a fault with the cartridge, asking for a new one to be inserted. I have taken the cartridge in and out (as advised on the help pages), turned the printer on and off, cleaned the cartridge electrical connectors but it still doesn't work. It has not been in any other printer.


The error is related to the tri-color cartridge.

Have you checked you HP Instant Ink account page? Your Instant Ink account page will have notifications if there are any issues with the account or recent cartridge shipment, it will even provide solutions on how to fix the issue. You may log in to your HP Instant Ink account page from here.
