Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

My printer came with few ink for 12 months. Why am I having to register worth a credit card? I didnt know which plan to choose as neither was free.

@The1Mrs, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

You will have to enroll the printer in Instant Ink by choosing a plan. Only then the free months will be credited to your Instant Ink account. You will not be charged for the free period.
