Free plan upgrade???

HP Recommended

I have received an email to tell me my free plan is being upgraded?! to £0.99 per month. It says based on my average printing of 14 pages/month, next year I could save up to £15 with my Instant Ink plan!

If print on average 14 page per month the cost for the year on my current plan is £0.00

The cost on the new plan would be £11.88. How is this a saving?

Is the free plan being withdrawn?

Apparently, yes, the Free Plan is being suspended / removed.

You are not the only one, of course, to be notified.

The "savings" is based on having to purchase ink as compared to the projected cost of the replacement plan, and not the free plan that is (will be) no longer available.  It is market speak - ignore it, if you like.

You certainly have to option to cancel the Service.

Should you wish to do that after considering your options,

Find the important How-to Cancel instructions in the Terms of Service Contract for your Instant Ink Service.

Example...

HP Instant Ink - Main Website - Information, Enroll, FAQ, Terms of Service / Contract

Need Help?

Phone contact, where available, will be posted on the main website (front page).  For example, look for the contact number in the blue ribbon just under the introduction section / image.

  • Section Check to see if your HP printer works with Instant Ink
  • FAQ section > READ How does HP Instant Ink work? – Be sure to read all the FAQ sections.
  • The all-important Contract > Link is located below the FAQ section > Terms of Service Contract

NOTES:

  • It is NOT necessary that you be enrolled to read the contract
  • Contract:  Open the main website > Change region / flag > scroll down just past the FAQ
  • The contract also provides contact information, usually in the very first section.
