Occasionally when I am printing a document, the printer spits out many pages of gibberish with just one line or a few random characters on a page that are not part of the document I am printing. I assume these are adding to my page count. I believe they are caused by errors in the print driver. It doesn't seem fair that these are added to my page count. How can I get these pages taken off my page count?

My printer is connected via Wi-Fi.  This happened most recently when printing a one-page Excel document. I was printing while logged into my job, where I was working remotely connected through Citrix Workspace, which I think is a kind of VPN. It automatically selects my default printer at home when I am working from home.
