Somebody gifted me some ink printer cartridges they had purchased via HP Instant Ink.  If I recall correctly, they upgraded their printer, and returned the old incorrect cartridges, but then they received a 2nd shipment of the cartridges in addition to the correct ones for their new printer.  So, the lady offered them up in a FB group (Buy Nothing, nationwide), and gifted them to me.  I went to use the first one the other day, and I guess I'm blocked from using it.  Is there a way for me to use them -- I hate them to simply go to waste!  TIA.

The cartridges you got as a gift are for instant ink printers only and I am afraid those ink cartridges may not work on any other printer.
