Hi! Question for you all, if I gift my printer to my father, how do I disconnect from HP instant ink so that he can then enable it with his own account? Please let me know. Thanks!

Yes, upon canceling the subscription the cartridges will stop working. And upon re-enrolling the printer it would take a week to receive the welcome kit 🙂
I hope that answers your concern adequately. Let me know!

@lalalalaxoxoxo, Welcome to HP Support Community!
May I have the exact model name of the product? Refer to this document for steps to find the product details. Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.
Keep me posted.

@lalalalaxoxoxo, Welcome to HP Support Community!
First, cancel the subscription. Here is the document Cancel Your HP Instant Ink Service that can help you.
Now, try these steps to re-enable the web-services -
Step 1 Remove the Web-Services -
1. From the top of the screen, touch or swipe down the tab to open the Dashboard, touch ( HP ePrint ), and then touch (Web Services Settings).
2. Touch Remove Web Services.
Reboot the devices.
Step 2 Enable the Web-Services -
1. From the top of the screen, touch or swipe down the tab to open the Dashboard, and then touch ( Setup ).
2. Touch Web Services Setup .
3. Touch Accept to accept the Web Services terms of use and enable Web Services.
4. On the screen that appears, touch OK to allow the printer to automatically check for product updates.
5. If the Printer Update Options screen is displayed, select one of the options.
6. When the printer is connected to the server, the printer prints an information page. Follow the instructions on the information page to finish the setup.
With this, you should be able to add the printer to your new Instant Ink account.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
