I have a HP Deskjet 2701e printer. It used to work fine. But suddenly it has the Wireless alert to tell me that the wireless is disconnected. I have had an email from HP Instant Ink saying my printer is off line. There is no blue light. At all. When I press the WiFi button and the X button in an attempt to restart setup mode all that happens is the power button flashes and doesn’t stop. Please help!!

Hi @Ll213-_,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you're experiencing connectivity issues with your HP Deskjet 2701e printer. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem.
- Restart the Printer: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues. Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a few minutes, and then plug it back in and turn it on again.
- Check Wireless Connection: Ensure that your printer is within range of your wireless network and that the network is functioning properly. You may need to reset your wireless router if other devices are also experiencing connectivity issues.
- Verify Wireless Settings: Make sure that the wireless settings on your printer are correctly configured. You can usually access these settings through the printer's control panel or by using the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
- Reset Network Settings: If you suspect that there might be a problem with the printer's network settings, you can try resetting them to the default factory settings. Refer to your printer's user manual for instructions on how to do this.
- Update Printer Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer and install them if necessary. Updated firmware may include fixes for connectivity issues.
- Check for Interference: Wireless signals can be affected by interference from other electronic devices or obstacles such as walls and furniture. Try moving the printer closer to your wireless router and away from potential sources of interference.
By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot the wireless connectivity issue with your HP Deskjet 2701e printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
