HP ENVY Photo 6234 printer

Using an HP EnVY Photo 6234 printer. Shows the error when switched back on after updating everything "Server Problem, Cannot connect to web services, etc". Have been through all advice provided by HP and still doesn't work. Any thoughts gladly received

Hi @UncleBob2

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you. Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:

Have you tried printing a document from the MAC to check if that works?

Update the printer firmware

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

Restart the network devices

  1. Turn off the Router, Printer, and the MAC/ mobile devices.
  2. Wait for 60 seconds.
  3. Turn on the Router first and wait for all the lights to stabilize.
  4. Turn on the printer and allow it to configure itself.
  5. Turn on the MAC/ mobile devices.

If the issue persists, restart web services on the printer

Refer to this document to know how to turn off web services. To turn on, you may follow the steps in this document.

Make sure the printer is connected to the Internet. Either 2.4GHz or 5GHz network.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
