HP Envy 5010 - Not connecting to sever - error code 0XB81864CO

HP Recommended
HP Pavilion
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, I have the HP Envy 5010 printer. The printer cannot connect to web services since I moved address. I have tried restarting the printer and router which has not had any effect. I have uninstalled the web web service to try and add it again, when I did this, it seemed to be thinking about it, but error code appeared 0XB81864CO. and printer had to be restarted. When restarted printer to try again, uninstalling web service makes no difference. Despite wifi working, printer cannot acquire email address or connect to web sever so unable to connect to server to print.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@laura104, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

If the printer is enrolled in Instant Ink, the web services should be enabled for you to print. Kindly follow the steps mentioned in this document to resolve this issue.

If the issue persists, assign a manual IP address to the printer and try again

  • Obtain the IP address of the printer – You can touch the “wireless” icon on the printer control panel to obtain the IP address.
  • Type the IP address at the top of your web browser to obtain the printer EWS page on your computer.
  • If you get any security notification, click on show details/advanced and 'proceed to this website'.
  • Go to "Network" tab - General - Select "Network protocols" - Select "Enable IPv4 only" (or similar) - Apply the settings.
  • Go to the “Network” tab – Click on “Wireless (802.11) – Then click on “Network address (IPv4)
  • Click on the radio button which says “Manual IP” and then click “Suggest a manual IP address” to give a manual IP address to your printer.
  • Click on the radio button which says “Manual DNS Server” and under manual preferred type 8.8.8.8 and under manual alternate type 8.8.4.4 (This is Google DNS server address)
