HP Envy 5540
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

 

I am having an issue with the colour cartridge for the HP Envy 5540, it keeps giving the error message  'Ink Cartridge Failure' and asking me to re-install it. I have followed all the troubleshooting suggestions, cleaned the cartridge and downloaded the HP Print and Scan doctor but the error message will not clear.

The response from HP on all the troubleshooting is that cannot help until the error message is cleared, so I am stuck as the error will not clear. 

 

Any help would be appreciated.
