Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I've browsed these forums for the best part of 3 hours looking for information.

I'll keep it as short as possible. The printer was bought on eBay, I'm trying to set it up to HP+ cloud services but it is already registered to a previous owner.

I have NO way to contact the previous owner as the ebay seller wasn't the actual owner of it, it was just a second hand PC store.

So the printer is connected to an instant ink account that I have no access too. I understand HP support cannot remove the accout from their end,

So my question, can I factory reset and / or HP Secure Erase the printer in the settings and will this release the printer from the previous owners account?

Or, is the printer essentially a large paper weight brick that will never be able to use instant ink services for the remainder of its life?

Thanks.
