HP Instant Ink: Empty cartridge not registering as needing to be ordered

I have joined Instant Ink and last time received my first replacement ink cartridges just before the printer cartridges needed replacing. Now the colour cartridge is empty but there is no replacement being shipped and there seems no way to contact HP Instant Ink to query this and get another cartridge. My online check of HP Instant Ink indicates that both cartridges are fully operational, but the colour one is definitely empty.
I thought the printer automatically sent the ink levels to HP? Please advise.

Hey there! @Greekski,
Is your printer connected to the internet all the time?
If the printer is not connected to the internet all the time the ink status won't get updated and you will have a delay in the ink shipment.
“Your Instant Ink account page has data on past deliveries and estimated shipments. It also helps you understand what state your cartridges are in based on HP’s data. Any issues will be shown with steps to fix. Please check your account page to see the latest cartridge information by signing into your account at “instantink.com
If you have not received the replacement ink cartridges yet. Please share out few details in a private message, so I can check your account details and initiate an order to ship you the replacement ink
cartridges at an express shipment.

My printer is connected to the WiFi at all times. According to the printer the signal is “excellent”. I can print (in black) through my various WiFi connected devices. However, my HP Envy 5030 printer says it can’t connect to “Web Services” and “The printer will try again later”, but it has said this for months (as long as I can remember).
I don’t actually print very often, but in the last two years I’ve paid over £60 for Instant Ink and received 3 black cartridges; I have never received a colour cartridge.
Please help!

I have the same issue but don't find a way to force the sending of new cartridges. My printer is on and connected. Next delivery is previewed in 2 months (!!!). What can I do in the meantime? I cannot print if I don't have the new cartridges.
