Hi @Keljam,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If the HP Instant Ink icon is constantly flashing on your printer after you reset it due to Wi-Fi connection issues, it might be indicating that there is an issue with your Instant Ink service or the communication between your printer and the Instant Ink service.
Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot the flashing HP Instant Ink icon.
- Check Internet Connection: Ensure that your printer is connected to the internet. If it is a wireless printer, make sure it is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer or mobile device.
- Verify Instant Ink Subscription: Log in to your HP Instant Ink account online and check if your subscription is active and up-to-date. If there are any issues with your account or payment, it could be causing the icon to flash.
- Restart the Printer: Turn off your printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve minor glitches.
- Update Printer Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. HP often release updates to fix bugs and improve functionality.
- Reinstall Instant Ink Cartridges: If you recently replaced your Instant Ink cartridges during the printer setup, try removing and reinstalling them to ensure they are properly seated.
- Check for Error Messages: Look for any error messages or status updates on the printer's display panel. These messages can provide valuable information about the issue.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
