HP Instant Ink is a ripoff **bleep** After all the money I paid them over the past few years I only ever received one set of ink cartridges, and after I finally got smart enough to cancel the service they turned off my ability to use those cartridges (even though they stilled contained lots of ink I had paid for many times over. **bleep**

Hi @MyDeeQuinn,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
When you sign up for an HP Instant Ink plan, you pay a monthly fee to print a defined number of pages per month. The plans are based on the number of pages that you print, not on how many ink cartridges you use. Ink cartridges are automatically shipped out when the ink cartridges are low on ink. You will not be paying for the ink cartridges. Hence, you will not be able to print using the HP instant ink cartridges after you cancel the subscription. You need to purchase the normal cartridges from the store and return the instant ink cartridges.
You may check the instant ink terms and conditions from the link: https://instantink.hpconnected.com/uk/en/terms
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
