I am currently subscribed to 300 pages per month, with up to 900 pages can be carried forward. After a period of high usage, I am now at a low usage level with a carried forward of 900. If I downgrade my subscription to a low usage level, will I lose my carry forward of pages? Thank you very much.

Hi @cpleigh2000,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If you downgrade your HP Instant Ink subscription from your current 300-page plan to a lower-tier plan, your rollover page balance will be adjusted to match the new plan's rollover limit. This means that any accumulated pages exceeding the new plan's rollover cap will be forfeited.

📄 Example Scenario

  • Current Plan: 300 pages/month
    • Rollover Limit: 900 pages (3× monthly allowance)
    • Current Rollover Balance: 900 pages
  • New Plan: 100 pages/month
    • Rollover Limit: 300 pages (3× monthly allowance)

Upon downgrading, your rollover balance will be capped at 300 pages, and the remaining 600 pages will be lost.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
