HP Smart login never works - I always get the spinning beachball until it times out with

(Error Code: OW_500_OWSID00001)

I have done everything, and my computer OS is up to date, as is my default browser set to Safari, and up to date.

I have removed and re-installed HP Smart, done all the quitting and restarting applications, but nothing!

HP Smart does work on my Apple iPhone, with no problems being redirected to the login, and being able to use all functionality, but typing on the little screen is not how I want to use HP Smart!

Has anyone gotten HP Smart to sync with servers and allow desktop login?
