Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have used the HP smart program for years to manage various HP Printers and to try and use all of the features of the printers including scanning.   

 

Half the time, the HP Smart program cannot find the devices, even when they are on the same hardwired network segment. So in my experience, the HP smart program barely works.       Now HP makes us log into HP accounts in order to use the features on machines that are sitting right next to us.    This creates holes in our secure networks and basically makes bad bloated software worse.    On top of that HP removed features from their scanning editor and now I cannot rotate the images.   

I am tired of wasting my life with what has become bloatware, are there any alternatives to this software that actually work?      Or is it time to switch printer companies?

May I have the exact model name of the product? Refer to this document for steps to find the product details. Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.
