Product: HP ENVY 4500 e-All-in-One Printer

I tried to print yesterday but the printer said the ink wasn’t compatible, I put a new cartridge in and the same error occurs they are both HP Ink cartridges, I’ve tried resetting but the same error keeps appearing the original cartridges was over half full and a brand new one, I don’t want to go out and buy more ink as the same thing may happen again, can you hel
