Hi,

I have an HP Tango printer, I enrolled for HP instant ink, then cancelled because I had 8 twin packs of HP cartridges, tried to use them after I cancelled and the printer would not let me use them, so re enrolled for instant ink and printer will still not let me use them… can anybody help please, I am trying to do my end of year tax accounts for which I have taken time off work and I am getting nowhere fast.

Thanks in advance.

Gary.

Hi @Gary294,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you're experiencing with your HP Tango printer and Instant Ink. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Check Cartridge Compatibility: Make sure that the cartridges you have are compatible with your HP Tango printer. Sometimes, using incompatible cartridges can cause issues. Check the printer manual or the HP website for a list of compatible cartridges.

Verify Cartridge Installation: Ensure that the cartridges are properly installed in the printer. Remove them and reinsert them carefully to make sure they are securely in place.

Update Firmware: Check if there is a firmware update available for your HP Tango printer. Firmware updates can sometimes address compatibility issues and improve overall performance. You can check for updates through the printer's settings or on the HP support website.

Restart Printer and Device: Turn off your printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for a few minutes. Also, restart your iOS device. Then, plug in the printer and turn it back on. Reconnect your iOS device to the printer and try printing again.

Reinstall Printer: Remove the printer from your iOS device and reinstall it. Go to your device settings, select the printer, and then forget or delete the printer. Afterward, re-add the printer and try printing again.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.-
