I had the issue when after a month my instant ink account stopped working due to connectivity issue and I tried a lot to fix the issue but I found the solution simply just by adjusting my printer date and time. After getting it corrected and I refresh the sync button on my online HP account and It got connected.

Now it is perfectly working so far.

Hi @gillgurkirat1,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Instant Ink service is not getting connected with your HP Officejet Pro 8610 printer, here are some steps you can try,

  • Check the compatibility of your printer with HP Instant Ink. Not all HP printers are compatible with this service, so make sure your printer is on the list of supported devices.
  • Ensure that your printer is connected to the internet. HP Instant Ink requires an active internet connection to work properly.
  • Make sure that your HP Officejet Pro 8610 printer has the latest firmware installed. You can check for and install updates using the HP Smart app or through the printer's control panel.
  • Verify that you have enrolled in an Instant Ink plan and your account is active. If you haven't enrolled yet, you can do so by visiting the HP Instant Ink website and selecting your printer model.
  • Confirm that the HP Instant Ink cartridges have been correctly installed in the printer. These cartridges are specially designed for use with the Instant Ink service and must be installed for the service to work.
  • Restart both your printer and your router. Sometimes, connectivity issues can be resolved by simply rebooting your devices.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
