HP office jet 4657 does not print pdf

Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

I have got an old laptop with windows 7 pro and I cannot print pdf file from the menu of the file (it works perfectly with all other files).

the only way that I can print pdf files, is clicking with the right button and select print but in that way I cannot select the pages I want print or other details.

I don't understand if it's a windows problem or what else.

Any Idea what I can do?

Welcome to the HP Support Community. 

 

Print the PDF as an image

 

You can print a PDF file as an image.

note:

Printing a PDF file as an image can result in blurry images or fonts, especially along the edges of the print.

  1. Open the original PDF file.

  2. Click File, and then select Print from the list.

    The Print window opens.

  3. Click Advanced.

    The Advanced Print Setup window opens.

  4. Click the Print As Image checkbox, change any other settings as desired, and then click OK.

Thank you for your reply.

Unfortunately there isn't that option :/. it's in Italian but as you can see, there is only one option "print" (stampa)Screenshot 2020-07-15 at 17.57.58.png

This looks like an issue with the Adobe application. Try updating the application or reinstall it with the newer version available.
