HP Officejet 6700 Premium

Whenever the printer HP Officejet 6700 Premium is turned on' there is an error message:

There is a problem in the printer or the ink system. Turn off the printer and then turn it on. In case the problem persists contact HP.

There is no way the printer/scanner/fax/copy functions from this moment on.

Though the following actions were taken, the above message is displayed as soon as the printer is turned on.

The in cartridges were all replaced with new ones.

The voltage supply cable was disconnected during the time the printer was on and in other cases the printer was off.

Please any ideas what other actions might resolve the problem and bring the printer back to operation mode ?

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I understand you are not able to print due to this error. I'd be happy to assist you.

If you have tried the steps mentioned in this document and the issue persists, I'm afraid this is a hardware issue with the printer.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.
