HP Officejet Pro 8620 e-All-in-One Printer

so I had an empty ink cartridge on yellow and decided to start with instant ink, new cartridges have been fitted and now have printer failure on the screen, checked for obstructions, done reset, done removing cartridges and resetting, done checking  for paper jam in slides, etc.  instant ink web page says everything is ok with cartridges via web services, so a bit stuck as what else I can do.

Any help appreciated

Thanks

Mark

Hi @Mark542,

Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I see that you are getting printer failure error on your HP Officejet Pro 8620 E-All-In-One Printer.

Please follow the steps listed below to reset the printer:
1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
2. Unplug the power cord from the power source.
3. Wait 60 seconds.
4. Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and to the printer.
NOTE: HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
5. Turn the printer on.

You may also refer to the steps from this weblink.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
