I signed up for the HP insta ink Platinum on 1/3/23.
On 1/4/23 I was in an automobile accident and have been in the hospital, released this morning. While in there, my printer package was delivered. I have not had the chance to open the package at all as of yet today. Let alone, try the service for 30 days free as offered before I'm charged. I have an email this morning stating if I didn't call in today and enroll by 1/30/23, I would be charged full price of the printer. I called the number in the email and informed him of my situation. I asked if I could request a courtesy and allow me the 30 days due to the circumstances before billing me (offering any proof in documentation). He simply created a case and stated to call back tomorrow (to late to avoid being charged anything), and ask?? I'm confused! Do I just cancel today immediately if I'm going to be charged since I have had no time to even open the box?
This is what I received via email after that call? With a case number?

Welcome to the HP support community.
I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.
