I am on my second HP Printer due to an issue about a connectivity problem. When I print, an error message comes up stating "Connection Problem" - Reconnect the printer to the internet so that the printer can automatically order replacement cartridges. To learn more, open the HP Smart app or visit www.hpsmart.com and sign in to your account." My computer is up to date, I am connected to the internet, my HP Instant Ink is running and connected, Ink Cartridges are coming in the mail, I have done all the diagnostic steps, reset it, unplug, etc etc etc. My first HP Printer had the same issue as well, thus my reason for being on my second printer. I can't just cancel out of the error message because it comes up every time i try to print. I have spent hours on the phone with HP in the past to try and resolve this issue. Nothing works. Before I bang my head against the wall, has anyone had this issue and successfully resolved it without having to get a new printer?

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Let's restore the network settings on the printer:

To restore the printer to the original network settings 1. From the printer control panel, touch or swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the Dashboard, and then touch ( Setup ). 2. Touch Network Setup. 3. Touch Restore Network Settings. A message appears stating that the network defaults will be restored. 4. Touch Yes.

Once done, connect the Printer to the Wi-Fi.

Let me know if this helps.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
