Hi @TofiR,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
HP provides simple and convenient recycling of empty HP inkjet and LaserJet cartridges in over 45 countries/regions around the world.
HP Planet Partners has been working for over 25 years to responsibly recycle cartridges and avoid sending them to landfills.
Plastics recycled by HP are used as raw material and combined with other materials to make new Original HP cartridges and other everyday products.
More than 50 percent of Original HP cartridges are made with recycled ocean-bound plastic.
1500 tons of Original HP ink cartridges were recycled in 2021.
Use either of the following methods to recycle your cartridges.
Use the recycling service at local retailers: Many office supply, home electronics, and big box stores have recycling boxes or stations that accept most HP cartridges. For example, through a partnership with Best Buy, HP offers nearly 1000 electronics recycling drop off locations in the United States. Go to Electronics, Appliances and Fitness Equipment Recycling at Best Buy for more information.
Contact your local retailer for availability and what products are accepted.
Find a recycling service by country/region: Go to HP Planet Partners - Recycle Supplies. Select your country/region, if necessary, and then select an option to mail in the cartridges or schedule a pickup. Recycling options vary by country/region.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
