How do I set up printing documents sent from my phone to my wireless printer?

HP Envy 5055

I have the wireless HP Envy 5055 printer. It was working normal and then one day- just stopped receiving what I was sending over from my computer? I’d like to try and send documents from my Apple phone but i don’t know how to set that up? I have an 11 pro. Thanks!

@Lauren37, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Are you trying to print from your iOS device?

  • Make sure the printer and the iOS device are connected to the same wireless network.
  • This printer supports only 2.4GHz network. So, the iOS device should be on the 2.4GHz network.
  • If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both the networks.

Kindly refer to - Printing from an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch to know how to print from your iOS device.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
