Hi, My printer is pro 6978. last week my ink is finished and I try to change with new ones. however my printer did not accepts cartridges so :

1- I  have done factory reset on my printer to re-setup

2- However I could not pass "cartridge" setup screen. Allways warning me to enroll hp instant ink program.

3- Ok , now I am trying to enroll hp insant ink program but now I do not know my "eprint" number.

4- I could not access setup screen so I could not learn my XXXX@hpeprint.com number...

5-I could not print any page since my ink is finished and my setup process has not finished yet.

6- so, I am in stuck and could not learn my "hpEprint" ID to enroll hp insant ink program.

Is there any way to get rid of this vicious circle?

Hi @Mesuty

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the Claim Code.

To better assist you - Can you send us  a picture of the error screen?

While you respond to that, please try these steps -

1) Take out the cartridges.

2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.

3) Wait for 30 seconds.

4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not to a surge protector.

5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
