Hi @WilkoReece,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It seems like you're encountering an issue with your HP 2600 printer, specifically related to the ink plan. If your printer is indicating that it's already connected, but you're still having trouble with the ink plan, here are a few steps you can try:

Check Connectivity:

  • Ensure that your printer is properly connected to your computer or network. Make sure the USB or network cable is securely connected.

Restart the Printer:

  • Turn off your printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.

Restart Your Computer:

  • If your printer is connected to your computer, try restarting your computer. This can help refresh the connection.

Update Printer Drivers:

  • Ensure that you have the latest printer drivers installed on your computer. Visit the official HP website and download the latest drivers for your HP 2600 printer model.

Check Wireless Connection (If Applicable):

  • If you're using a wireless connection, make sure your printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network. You might need to re-enter your Wi-Fi credentials.

Check Ink Cartridges:

  • Ensure that the ink cartridges are properly installed and have sufficient ink levels. Sometimes, issues with the ink plan can be related to low or empty ink cartridges. Also please make sure you are using genuine HP ink cartridges.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer. Updating the firmware can address various issues.
  •  You can check here. Click

Reset Printer Settings:

  • If all else fails, you might consider resetting your printer to its default settings. Be aware that this will erase any custom settings, so only perform this step if necessary.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
