Hi @bigdaddyrio,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Do not worry, I'd be happy to help you!

You may be able to skip the claim code step by manually putting your printer into Setup mode.

When you set it up again, the printer will auto-claim and connect you to web services.

Note that once you enroll in HP Instant Ink, it will take 7-10 business days to receive your first shipment.

Reset your printer to factory settings. For guidance on how to do this, visit support.hp.com.

Visit HP Support - Printer Setup to set up your printer.

After you install the HP Smart, tap the plus sign and select your printer from the list of available printers.

During setup, make sure you select Instant Ink.

Your printer will connect itself to web services and be automatically claimed without a code.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
