I am out of ink and won't get my new Instant Ink  shipment for several days. Can I purchase and use ink cartridges locally until my shipment arrives?  I just want to make sure it works before I purchase.

General help on instant ink management

I do not have an instant ink printer. My understanding is that if you run out of ink you can use genuine  Hewlett Packard cartridges either original or refilled. They must have an HP chip in the cartridge.
