Hello All,

It’s 11:20PM EST on 7/16/22.  I’m trying to print from my HP Office Jet 3833. It’s powered on and connected to home office wifi. However, it’s not connected to HP. I tried to login to the HP app, but it’s prompting to add printer and start the initial process all over again. Is

the system down for maintenance or is it something I’m failing to do on my part? Please advise. Thanks a bunch. 😉

What's the version of HP Smart App installed? Are you able to print to the Printer from any other device?

 

Do check with your network provider, the encryption type of your network and whether it's 2.4 or 5 GHz.

 

Check with your Internet service provider if your router is able to forward 'Bonjour packets'.  Bonjour locates devices such as printers, other computers, and the services that those devices offer on a local network using multicast Domain Name System (mDNS) service records. The software comes built-in with Apple's macOS and iOS operating systems.
