Hi,

I recently moved country from the UK to the Netherlands.  I had to cancel my instant ink account as I was not able to simply change country.  I'm now trying to setup an Instant Ink account in the Netherlands but am running into some problems.

I have a flashing orange "i" button, flashing orange light, "E"/"0" alternating flashing andthe main paper try is a pale greeny orange light.

The blue wifi bars are lit up and it is connected to the internet.

Every time I try to go through the instant ink setup, I only get as far as printing the printer information page, but this fails to have the Printer Code necessary to follow through with the Instant Ink setup.

I've tried printing the code via the app by connecting that to the printer, but this tells me the printer is busy and can not complete my request.

I seem to be going around in circles.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd love to help.

You first have to perform a region reset on the Printer as the Printer is in a different country.

To do a printer region reset you need to meet the following conditions:

1. The printer should be connected using a printer USB cable to the computer.

2. You need to have the printer full feature software installed on your computer.

3. You need to have all the cartridges from the old region/country.

Please do let us know.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the "Accept as solution" button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!

Have a great day!
