@ICW Alright, I acknowledge that you've got a tri-color and a black cartridge before signing up with the Instant Ink program, however, what's your question? Could you elaborate? If you want to know if you can use it, the answer is Yes, you may until you get the Instant Ink Cartridges delivered to your place, the page count begins after you insert the new ink cartridges we'll be delivering to you.

If that's not what you wanted to know, please let me know what it is!? 😉
