  • Restart Printers: Power off both printers, wait for a few minutes, and then power them back on. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.
  • Check HP Instant Ink Account: Log in to your HP Instant Ink account online and verify that both printers are listed correctly. If the NY printer is not showing up, you may need to add it to your account.

  • Re-Add Printer to HP Instant Ink Account: If the NY printer is not linked to your HP Instant Ink account, you might need to remove it from the account and then re-add it. Follow the instructions provided by HP Instant Ink to ensure proper linking.
  • Update Printer Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your HP Envy 7640 printer. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve compatibility issues and improve printer functionality.
