I am no longer subscribed to instant ink and don't care for the service. I would like to be able to buy and install my own cartridges without interference from HP

Hi @BMont1

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you. You can cancel enrollment in HP Instant Ink at any time and use regular HP ink cartridges.

 

Have you canceled the Instant Ink subscription?

To know how to cancel the subscription, refer to this document.

Make sure not to use any Instant Ink cartridges in the printer after the cancellation. Use regular HP ink cartridges.

 

Have you checked your HP Instant Ink account page? Your Instant Ink account page will have notifications if there are any issues with the account or recent cartridge shipment, it will even provide solutions on how to fix the issue. You may log in to your HP Instant Ink account page from here

 

For now, turn off the web services
