How am I supposed to get more ink with Instant Ink?

With HP Instant Ink, new ink cartridges are automatically sent to you based on your printing needs. Here’s how to ensure you receive your new ink refills:

1. Check Your Instant Ink Status:

  • HP Smart App: Open the HP Smart app on your device. It will show your ink levels and whether new cartridges are on the way.
  • Online Account: You can also log into your HP Instant Ink account online to check your ink status.

2. Automatic Reordering:

  • Instant Ink is designed to monitor your ink levels. If your black cartridge is out and your blue cartridge is low, HP should automatically send you replacements based on your usage. Typically, you'll receive a new cartridge before you run out.

3. Manual Order:

  • If you believe you haven’t received the new cartridges in a timely manner, you can manually request more ink:
    • Go to the HP Instant Ink website or app.
    • Navigate to the section for managing your account or subscriptions.
    • Look for an option to order replacement cartridges or request a shipment.

4. Shipping Time:

  • Keep in mind that shipping can take a few days. It’s a good idea to monitor your ink levels regularly to ensure you don't run out unexpectedly.
