I need ink from HP instant ink that I pay for every month and they will not send any because my ink levels show ok.  No I have an ink cartridge error that I have tried to resolve.  Its been since 2021 that HP sent me ink.  HOW can I get some ink when the system says I  am good.  I think the ink may be dried up.

If you're experiencing issues with your HP Instant Ink service, and your printer is not delivering the ink as expected, here are some steps you can take to resolve the issue:

Check Instant Ink Account:

  • Log in to your HP Instant Ink account on the HP website to ensure your account is active and that there are no issues with your subscription.

Update Payment Information:

  • Make sure that your payment information associated with the HP Instant Ink subscription is up-to-date. If there are any issues with payment, it could affect the delivery of ink.

Printer Connection:

  • Ensure that your printer is properly connected to the internet, as Instant Ink relies on an active internet connection for communication.

Printer Status:

  • Check your printer's status, including ink levels, through the printer control panel or the HP Smart app. Ensure that there are no error messages or issues reported on the printer itself.
  • If you believe your ink cartridges are dried up, you may consider manually ordering ink through the HP website 

Reset the Printer:

  • Try resetting your printer to its default settings. This can often resolve various issues. Refer to your printer's manual or HP's support documentation for instructions on how to perform a reset.

Check for Firmware Updates:

  • Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware updates installed. Sometimes, updating the firmware can resolve compatibility issues and improve overall performance.
