Okay so I'm new here and need some help. I with the help of my daughter, purchased a printer, laptop, and phone through affirm (which was a headache within itself as merchants did not know how to use affirm). Fast forward. I open the box and it has a printer cord and ink cart., but no documents. So, I had to figure it out myself, mashing all the buttons to figure out how to print, scan, etc. rolling the dice and hope for the best. I have anxiety speaking to people, so I tried my best to figure it out on my own. The printer was nice and the laptop as well, both from Hp. So, I was waiting on my free ink cart. to come in mail. when nothing showed up, I decided to google and found that you have to register but does this mean the ink cart.. will come to my address. I tried the virtual bot but no help but pointed me to sign up for a ink plan, then i saw pricing. So where is the 6 months free. Do I wait, am I forced to call to get help? This would be difficult due to anxiety attacks, yes, it's a disability.

"Free Ink" is not actually just "free ink" but instead is an offer to sign up for an Instant Ink subscription - and in doing so, receive an extended Trial subscription for that length of time.
During the trial, monthly plan fees are not charged.
Always, and for as long as you are subscribed, ink is supplied as part of the service at no extra cost to the plan.
Yes, though completely voluntary, if you (do) want to subscribe to the instant Ink Print-by-Page subscription, you must sign up for the service, select a plan (number of pages per month), and provide a credit card to activate the subscription.
The Print-by-Page subscription model:
Those who save money on this type of plan are generally those who print regularly, print content dense documents or images, and for whom the cost and convenience of having regular ink supplies sent when needed is a benefit.
Who benefits?
Examples (NOT all inclusive): Large families, small businesses, lawyers, teachers, artists, community services (church, schools).

During sign-up, any promotional credits or trials should be displayed.
If you have trouble with the sign-up,
and / or
If you have questions about the service,
and / or
If the extended trial period you expect is not offered,
Then
The faster way to find out how the service works and read about the plan responsibilities:
