I HAD NEWLY PURCHASED HP DESK JET INK ADVANTAGE 2138.I TAKEN ONLY 3 TO 4 COLOUR PRINT,BUT NOW IT IS SHOWING COLOR INK REPLACEMENT ERROR .

I AM NOT GETTING HOW TO RESOLVE THIS AND WHY THIS WAS FINISHED SO QUICKLY

Thank you for posting your query on HP Community,

 

Are you using genuine HP Ink cartridges or refilled ink cartridges. 

 

1) Take out the cartridges.

2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.

3) Wait for 30 seconds. 

4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not to a surge protector.

5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.

 

To clean the ink cartridges, refer to the steps from this document.

 

Also, try updating the printer's firmware. Refer to this document for steps.
