Incompatible cardtridge

Received a new color ink cartridge in the mail. Replaced it like I normally do & the printer throws an error saying the cartridge is incompatible. Do I need to get sent a new cartridge that is compatible?

Hi,

I assume you have been shipped with the cartridge by HP Instant Ink? Else please clarify.

For an HP Instant Ink cartridges I suggest contacting HP Support to get a replacement cartridge:

The virtual agent said it costed $5 to use that function

What country are you from?

I doubt it should cost to contact a support agent.
