Envy 4524
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, please could anyone help with this problem? My Envy 4524 printer suddenly will not print, and I am getting an error message saying 'incompatible cartridges'. This has suddenly happened, one day it was working, the next day there is this problem.  I am using the genuine cartridges supplied by HP Instant ink so I can't see why there should be a problem.

I've tried following the troubleshooting guide, e.g. resetting the printer, cleaning the contacts, but nothing works.  I believe it is the colour cartridge since I can print b & w in single-cartridge mode. I do not have a replacement cartridge, and none will be sent while this problem continues, so I am stuck.  I checked the warranty date on the cartridge and it has just expired.  Please can anyone help?
