Microsoft Windows 11

Not Instant Ink but got from Office Depot through the mail. Printer stuck on error message saying incompatible ink cartridge. It is a new HP 61XL. It is not beyond the expiration date. Already threw the box away and can't find the correct contact to get a replacement. Have spent over an hour trying all the fixes but none work. I am 75 miles from the nearest store so can't just go to the store for a replacement.

I see that you are facing an issue with your instant ink cartridges.

 

Kindly refer to the steps from this link and let me know if that fixes the issue.

 

Also, update the printer firmware by clicking on this link.
