Incorrect Page Count by Instant Ink

Over a two-day period I printed a total of 34 pages and was charged for 334 pages, exactly 300 pages too many. I don't know if this was a printer error or a billing system error - but I do know that those pages couldn't possibly have been printed without my knowledge, since the paper tray doesn't hold that much paper! Indeed, looking back on my printing history it is clear that this was an error spike of some kind. I alerted HP and cooperated with printer tests. I was then asked if my case was fully resolved and I replied that it was not, as I hadn't received either a refund or an explanation. I did not get a reply, so I emailed HP again a few days later. That was over six weeks ago: still no reply. I left feedback when requested - still no comment from HP.

Has anyone else experienced problems with page counts and/or HP falling silent when they hear something they don't want to hear?
