HP Envy 5010

My tri color cartridge for my HP Envy 5010 printer is not working.  Keep getting error message to use setup cartridges. Any advise on how to bypass this.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I understand you are not able to print due to ink cartridge error. I'd be happy to assist you.

 

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document to resolve this issue.

 

If the issue persists, we will have to perform a reset on the printer to bypass this error.

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
