Ink Cartridge not recognized

HP Recommended
HP Envy 4512
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Has anyone figured out if there’s a trick to fixing an instant ink cartridge that isn’t recognized by the printer. I keep getting a cartridge error a recent black ink cartridge that I received in the mail. I’ve tried troubleshooting my printer. I’ve followed recommendation of carefully cleaning the electric connectivity with distilled water. I’ve even tried updating my printer hoping that it was a software issue. Nothing has helped. And it’s like pulling teeth to get in touch with a real life customer service operator.
