HP Officejet Pro 6830

Hello! I need help with my printer. I noticed that there’s ink spilled inside my printer. Is that normal? I also noticed that when I print it not does print the right colors. For example, it prints out black and white and also color but it is missing the blue ink so the printing quality isn’t the same as the document or picture I want to print. I printed out a picture and the picture came out red, I also tried printing the picture black and white but it also came out red. I went to settings, printer maintenance and clean the print head but nothing helped. I tested patterns and it is missing the color blue. Any suggestions, On cleaning it manually or anything else to help my problem?

Hi @_jaax09

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

  • Do you notice any of the ink cartridges leaking?
  • During the cleaning process, there might be a small amount of ink in the service station of the printer.
  • But it should not be in large quantities.

If you have tried the steps mentioned in this document to resolve the print quality issues, but the issue persists, I'm afraid this could be a hardware issue with the printhead.
