I have Apple products of computers like IPHONE ,IPAD ,DESKTOPS PC& laptops Pc. I also have two (2) printers. One is a HPOffice Jet # 3830 & HP Office jet 4630.The 3830 uses Hp 63 ink,Hp4630 uses HP INK 61. I usually buy XL ink.Do the Hp instant ink program supply XL with the Hp instant ink program or regular ink when ever you need ink? I use the Safari on Apple products .I can use other browsers if need be mostly use the Apple browser.I didn’t know if I should sign up for the hp ink program or not? Also like ask another question is it alright to use ink in my printer’s that no HP ink. Like remanufactured ink cartridges in my printers that Amazon sells?

Hi @Wcg86,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Instant ink will send the cartridges compatible to the printer.
The cornerstone of every HP Instant Ink subscription is built-in cartridge monitoring. Your printer automatically keeps tabs on how much ink is left in your cartridge. So, instead of merely warning you about low levels, your printer takes the next logical step and orders a replacement cartridge for you.
While shipping times vary depending on your location, the program actually factors that into your replacement order. That way you won’t be left in the lurch when your ink gets low. You will have a replacement cartridge ready to swap for the empty one.
You won’t have to do any more desperate last-minute trips to find a replacement, only to find that the store is out of what you need. HP Instant Ink removes the hassle associated with buying cartridges or planning for heavy print times throughout the year, and streamlines workflows to free you up to do what’s important.
I have explained how you can enroll in Instant Ink:
Enroll during the initial printer setup
- New printers are designed to be easy to enroll during setup.
- Follow the instructions that came with the printer to set up and then enroll in Instant Ink.
Enroll a home printer after the initial setup
- New printers can be enrolled in Instant Ink during the initial setup. If you did not enroll during setup, you can always enroll later at the Instant Ink website.
- For Home Instant Ink accounts, all enrolled printers must share the same shipping address. A separate monthly plan fee is charged to your credit or debit card for each additional printer. You can enroll no more than 10 printers on a single account.
- Sign into your Instant Ink account
- Click HP Instant Ink, then Overview in the left navigation menu.
- Click Enroll or Replace a Printer and then follow the steps to enroll your printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
